Hi,
Need urgent help!
Asus X72D -Platform : K72DR Rev 3.0 came with no display issue.
After dumping bios, display came.
4 to 5 days later customer returned lap with no display.
1*-Any idea as what could help display to fail again after some days of work ?
Dumping bios again with new file didn't help.
2*- How to proceed to solve this returning issue ?

Hi.
Well here are some options :
1 - normal switch can prevent a bad cmos battery (check the voltage)
2 - to try to replace the eeprom
3 - is possible when flashing ( during soldering ) , warmed, or the video chip or North bridge ( there's not 2001 installed ?) and because of this, an image ( i.e., the point really was not in the firmware )
4 - faulty battery can not give normal work laptop (to remove it )

Просто видло на борту отсутствует у 007, а кристал посажен на тот же хреновый компаунд, нерасчитанный с текстолитом на расширение по температуре, вот и отрывает постоянно.

Так вроде 216-0752003 это RS880MC

Hi freeqwer!
Did a new dump with "K72DrAs.215". Tried lap yesterday (with or without cmos battery, I really don't remember) to no avail.
Today, replaced cmos battery, which I found removed, and tried again, display came.
Will use lap for some other days and see.
