Hi!
Need schematic for Fuj. Siem. amilo M2010
Platform : DAOJR2MB6AO REV : A
Thank you
There is only a dump of the BIOS
There is only a dump of the BIOS
Hi!
I couldn't find the diagram on the net.
The lap is completely dead. I just wanted to accelerate repair process with schematic help.
This schematic - quanta JR2
This not available.

This not available.
It seems that ISL 6236 is the guilty IC.
Will check and confirm.

Need diagram of the IC
LINK
Thank you for the link.
I fixed partially dead Amilo. Now 5V and 3V exists, but still lap doesn't fire up. Will check IT8502 good working.
Add and precise :
Dead amilo came originally with Max17020, which I replaced with Isl6236 recovered from scrabbed mobo, then +3VCPU and +5VCPU came out, but lap refuses to fire up.
Checked working conditions of E/C IT8502:
Clock signal is ok
AVCC, ACIN, NBSWON#, DNBSWON#, RSMRST, KBRST # = + 3.3v
but S5_ON = 0V ?
When power button is pushed, NBSWON#, DNBSWON# RSMRST went from High to Low then back to High that's normal I guess,
but S5_ON always 0V? I think, it should be high before pressing power button and should remain high after, Please correct if I'm wrong.
As main working conditions of IT8502 : AVCC, ACIN, KBRST, CLOCK SIGNAL being checked ok, and S5_ON is not issued, should I conclude that IT8502 needs replacement to solve non powering up?
Also, noticed that +3VCPU and +5VCPU issue is not permanently fixed i.e voltages disappear once in a while.
Reflowing then desoldering and soldering isl6236 didn't definitely fix the issue.
This intermittent problem let me wonder whether Isl6236 is proper replacement for Max17020? and if it's ok, then where to dig further for this intermittent issue?
P.S note that, I removed the new topic I opened unintentionally as i should continue on this thread.
Thank you for your help

Disappeared theme amilo M2010 ,which was in another section.
So I will write here .
You asked there about S5_ON
I still have your last post :
Amilo M2010- platform DAOJR2MB6AO REV : A came first dead.
After replacing failing Max17020 with Isl6236 at hand, +3VCPU and +5VCPU came, remained for a good time and disappeared and reappeared intermittently. Resoldering, reflowing Isl6236, didn't help, also lap refuses to fire up.
1-This intermittent problem let me wonder whether Isl6236 is proper replacement for Max17020 ?
2-If it is ok, then where to dig for this intermittent issue ?
When +3VCPU and +5VCPU are issued :
Clock signal of E/C IT8502 is ok
AVCC, ACIN, NBSWON#, DNBSWON#, RSMRST, KBRST#=+3.3v
S5_ON=0v
When power button is pushed, NBSWON# DNBSWON# RSMRST went from high to low then back to high, but
S5_ON is always =0V? I think it should be high as soon as adapter is plugged in, and should remain high after pressing power button, please correct if I'm wrong.
3- As, above listed working conditions of E/C are checked ok, should I conclude that IT8502 needs replacement to help switching on lap ?
.
After clicking NBSWON# , IT8502 must raise to a high level S5_ON
Lift the leg S5_ON IT8502 and check the resistance on the foot and resistance on the contact pad.
Also, noticed that +3VCPU and +5VCPU issue is not permanently fixed i.e voltages disappear once in a while.
Do not quite understand.
(+3VCPU and +5VCPU) sometimes disappear ?
Disappeared Theme amilo M2010, Which WAS in another section. So I Will Write here. You Asked About S5_ON there
I still have your last post:
After clicking NBSWON #, IT8502 must to Raise A High Level S5_ON

Sorry for the inconvenience caused by the remove of the new topic, as I should better continue this open thread.
Will try and give feed back.
Add to clarify, when I first replaced Max17020 with isl6236, +5VPCU and +3VPCU were issued. Some hours later started checking IT8502, found no AVCC and ACIN, back to isl6236 +3VPCU and +5VPCU were again absent, reflowed isl 6236 then desoldered and soldered isl6236, didn't fix permanently this issue ?
So, please confirm whether Isl6236 is a proper replacement for Max 17020, and if it is, where to dig, as for this intermittent issue ?
thank you

please confirm whether Isl6236 is a proper replacement for Max 17020
Yes
What happens with +5VCPU and +3VCPU ?
Yes
What happens with + 5VCPU and + 3VCPU?
Currently, +5VPCU and +3VPCU are again absent, found +0.24V at both output, but measured at bat+ connector +13V (battery not installed).
So when +5VPCU AND +3VPCU are present, 0V to 0.8V is found at bat +charging pin connector(battery removed) that's normal but when they are absent, +13V is measured at bat +connector ? Maybe this will help pinpointing the intermittent system voltage issue.
Hi
Lift the leg S5_ON IT8502 and check the resistance on the Foot and resistance on the contact pad.
Resistance of contact pad to gnd is 90k
Resistance of IT8502 S5_ON pin to gnd is 5k
VEN LDO - includes LDO
VEN1 (V) - includes SMPS1
VEN2 (V) - includes SMPS2
You need to check the levels of these signals, as well as resistance on the lines of these signals.
VEN LDO=2.2V LD0=4.2V low should be 5V
VEN1 and VEN2=4.2V
Ugate2=Ugate1=SMPS1=SMPS2=0.6V
Resistance upper gate 2 to SMPS2 and upper gate1 to SMPS1=10R ?
Output coils are not shorted to gnd
As +5V and +3V are absent though VEN1 and VEN2 signals exist, I think
that either the outputting dual fets 6900AS or the Isl6236 need replacement.
P.S note that the Isl6236 I fixed to replace Max17020 is recovered from scrapped mobo (no new one at hand), so might be it's defective.
Will try to dig further tomorrow.

hi,
ok, I wish to summarize working conditions of ISL6236 found :
VIN=21.3V
VEN LDO= 2.2V LD0 = 4.2V low Should be 5V
VEN1 and VEN2 = 4.2V
Ugate2, Ugate1, SMPS1 and SMPS2 = 0.6V
Outputting coils are not shorted to gnd
Outputting dual fets FDS6900AS tested off circuit ok
As working conditions of isl6236 exists and outputting circuit is ok, but +5V and +3.3V are not issued, I can conclude now that Isl6236 needs replacement.
Do you share ?
If not, please suggest further steps to take.
Thank you
VIN=21.3V
?
Why is there such a voltage value ?
Maybe there should be 19 volts ?
LD0 = 4.2V low Should be 5V
Should be 5 volts
Could be a faulty multimeter ?
I can conclude now that Isl6236 needs replacement.
I think you need to replace.
Why is there such a voltage value ?
Maybe there should be 19 volts ?
Y're right measured with an analogue meter it's 19V.
Should be 5 volts
Could be a faulty multimeter ?
Well, measured with an analogue meter +4.1V, so always low.
I think you need to replace
As I have not at hand isl6236, I think any of the following ICs will do :
isl6237- tps51427-rt8206 Please confirm.
Thank you

I have recorded that the analogues.
For more accurate information you need to compare the datasheets.
